  • Research Interests

  • Understand upper ocean dynamic, processes, air-sea interactions and upper ocean biological response, such as Kuroshio, eddies, tropical cyclone and chlorophyll induced by strong mixing, using numerical model and observational data for the western Pacific and marginal sea around Taiwan. Considering the frequently tropical storms events around Taiwan and where the tropical storms were form, storm surge over islandwide and the long term variability over Pacific ocean like ENSO and PDO are important topics.
